How Can I Help?

 

We ALL need help at different times with different things to be able to move forward in our life.  Using a resource that has more experience than you are also commonplace – we hire help with our taxes, hair, medical care, remodeling, however when it comes to managing our stress, mental health, life changes we refuse. 

What is it about asking for help that stops us dead in our tracks?  “It’s not that big of a deal,” I don’t have the money,” “what will people think”…  

What if instead of thinking about every reason not to get help we began to think about what might be different if I did get some help?  What would next week be like, next month or next year?  What if I was able to feel better, meet that goal, have a better relationship or feel good about parenting my child/teen? 

Sometimes the first step is the hardest to take.  At Intentional Steps my goal is to make asking for help easy.  Call me with questions.
